Samsung Galaxy S6 Apps - PORTED!

It's been a little while since the new Samsung flagship reveal, that also showed us the new version of Touchwiz followed by bunch of new apps, mostly with a new Material Design-ish overhaul. Guess what, they are ported!

Unfortunately, all these apps are working on Touchwiz-powered ROMs only (Samsung devices only, in other words).
Here's a little list of what apps do we have now:

  • Launcher
  • AccuWeather widget
  • Music Player
  • Keyboard
  • Smart Manager
  • S Health
  • WallpaperPicker
  • Gallery
  • Browser
  • MyFiles
  • GalaxyApps
  • Calculator
  • SnapBiz Card
  • S Translator
  • S Note
And a few more.
As you might've guessed, root is needed for installation of some of the apps.
Before replacing any APK in the /system directory, be sure to make a Nandroid backup first!

Detailed instructions followed by download links can be found in the XDA index:
No TouchWiz? Don't worry, at least you can get the wallpapers, huh?

  • Download wallpapers (open with desktop mode on mobile phones if you haven't got Mega app installed)e

[PORTED] LG G4 Apps now available for LG G3!

The newly release LG's flagship, the G4, hasn't even shown up to the public and boom, already got a few apps ported for its older brother, G3. The camera, gallery, contacts, launcher, calendar, voice recorder, alarm clock and some more are all available for installing on your G3!

Since the system dumb has been pushed, the LastStandingDroid@XDA decided to port a few apps for the older generation, the G3.
In the result he ported a fine amount of apps, including the well-known and brand new camera, known especially for its manual mode, that is partially working on the G3, and shooting pictures in RAW format.

apps

Here's a screenshot (credit goes to LastStandingDroid) of the new Launcher (which hasn't changed much) and the new Music app.

But the biggest tease would probably be the new camera, as it's driven a lot of attention lately.
This is a quick video showing the G4 camera running on G3. Alrough I got it working on my G3, I've experienced some FCs and there are definitely some problems.

But for those who can't wait, go ahead! Your device has to be rooted. The apps are made for Lollipop versions.

Firstly, download the ZIP. Extract it on your PC (or directly on your Android device), you should get an APK file along with a "lib" folder.

Navigate to /system/priv-app (or something like, don't quite remember the exact name), open the LGCamera folder (again, something like that :p) and backup the files there (you can backup the camera easily by changing the type from .APK to .BAK

Now simply put the new camera APK to the folder and change the permissions to rw-r-r.
Next, the folder part. Do the same thing with the folder, delete all the files except libDNVBeautyFace_JNI.so, keep this one. Then move all the files from the new folder and finally change the permissions of the folder, if needed (to rwxr-xr-x).

You should get the similar look to this (just with another Camera icon, since this is the old version).

Done? Reboot! Have fun.

Though this is quite a problematic app, there are some that work seamlessly.
  • LgMusic
  • LGIMe
  • LGFileManager
  • LGHome
  • LGMusicWidget
These should be working just fine and you shouldn't have or find any bugs.

Unresponsive touchscreen FIX for OnePlus One!

Several OnePlus One users have reported this rather annoying glitch when screen becomes unresponsive after a while. Everything seems to be working fine exepct the touchscreen, which stays unresponsive and the only way to fix this is to reboot the device. If you're experiencing such issues, here's a fix for you!

The solution is only temporary and users will probably have to wait for another software update fixing this issue but it seems to be working just fine.

The key to fix this is executing the following command into the terminal:
cat /sys/class/input/input0/baseline_test

To make this automated, you can use Tasker and create this specific task for command execution every time the screen turns ON.

Open Tasker, add a new profile, navigate to state -> display -> display state, choose ON, then create a new task.

Add an action code -> run shell and input the command cat /sys/class/input/input0/baseline_test which will be executed when the screen turns ON. Make sure root option is ticked and profile with the task is activated. You're good to go!

You might want to check the quick video by +Greg Ives if you're unsure about the guide.
https://plus.google.com/+GregIvesgrives/posts/g1hWuhdEyNx

Don't have Tasker? You might consider buying it! Tasker adds automatic tasks (that you create), events, triggers, whatever you don't want to do manually anymore, Tasker will do for you!

Download Tasker on Google Play

MonsterUI - And Xposed Module that will add Lollipop look to your older Android!

Since the Android Lollipop release, many legacy device owners are now "jelly" about the new Material Design look that's been spreading like a disease these days. If you're one of them, don't worry, there's still hope! It's called MonsterUI.

MonsterUI uses the well-known Xposed Framework, so it's really easy to use it.

For those that don't know what Xposed is, take a look here.
To enable MonsterUI, simply install the app, enable the Xposed module and reboot.
Enjoy!

(Module should work on ICS,JB and KitKat).

Download MonsterUI (official thread, find more information here)

Francisco Franco launches a new app - Servicely!

Francisco Franco, the author of amazing Franco Kernel for Nexus devices and developer of FKU app, Peek, Nexus Display Control and many more just released his new app called Servicely.

Servicely does one simple job. The app launches a service every 60 seconds and check for the apps you have in the list. If the apps are running, Servicely kills them. However, if the app runs in a foreground service, the app won't be affected.

Servicely does almost the same thing as Greenify app does, it has beautiful design and it's free.
If you ever left your phone overnight and got 50% drain because of the useless apps running in the background, I ensure this won't happen anymore with Servicely.

How to enable LG's Quick Remote on custom AOSP-based ROMs?

Devices like LG G2 and G3 are equipped with an IR blaster which is very useful for controlling devices such TVs, projectors, radios, set-top boxes or even air conditioners. Unfortunately, the IR blaster and the QuickRemote app itself worked on the stock ROM (and custom ROMs based on this stock version, such as CandyG3) and if you wanted to flash an AOSP-based ROM, you had to live with the fact that the QuickRemote will not work. Well, not anymore.

The "guys from the XDA", exactly sefnap, RieGo and zzeneg have ported the QuickRemote app for LG G2 and G3 and made it working on all AOSP based ROMs.

The default SELinux policy for android was changed to enforcing mode in Lollipop to increase security. This restricts the functionality of some apps, so for QuickRemote to work we have to change the SELinux policy back to permissive mode until we have a better solution.

Instructions? Classic; just flasth the ZIP. Don't forget to make a backup, or at least download the uninstall version zip (that will remove the mod once flashed).

First make sure the init.d support is enabled, you can use this app.

Chainfire's new app "Recently" makes Lollipop multitasking useful back again

There have been some changes in Android Lollipop that may actually be dragging Android down. With the Lollipop release, multitasking - the recents view have become overview and instead of showing all the running apps it shows pretty much everything you've ran in the past few days. And as you know Lollipop recents are kept even when phone reboots, so if you're not clearing the tabs by yourself, you probably have non-stop incoming tabs even when you don't really need them. "Recently" changes this.

As Chainfire describes the app, Recently aims to restore sanity, by limiting which apps are shown. In its most aggressive configuration, it will show you only apps that are actually running right now.

Screenshot 2015 03 10 19 50 06

As you can see on the screenshot above, you can limit the apps by age and also by maximum number of apps listed in multitasking.

In its most aggresive configuration, there will be only running apps shown in multitasking.
What Recently does, is that it hides the other tabs and just doesn't show them in the list. Recently doesn't kill the apps. The app produces no wakelocks, only runs as a BG service.
Definitely a great idea, what do you think?

Lollipop & root access needed.

How to get apps from Google Play for free using Cracked Google Play

This walkthrough is for educational purposes only. Please do not abuse this knowledge.

To get apps directly from Google Play for free, we need a few things first:

  • root access (with Busybox installed)
  • Cracked Google Play
  • root browser
  • a credit card we'll be using to purchase apps
Cracked Google Play from ChelpuS is a modyfied version of Google Play that has a few little improvements over the stock one.

With the modded Play Store, you can : Use protected apps with Google LVL (License Verification Library) without cracking them, verify license in offline mode, disable self update, and more.

One of the features we'll be exploting is that with Cracked google Play is refunds. Refunds work like this: You buy an app and you decide that you don't wont it (let's say it's crashing on your device). What you do, is that you hit refund and bom, your money is back. Of course the app you've bought gets uninstall. Well, not with cracked version.

In the modified GPlay version, the app stays on your device even when you refunded it. This way, you've just gotten it for free. However, you'll have to buy it first.

Install cracked Google Play

First you need to install this modified version. You can't install it as a classic APK file because GPlay is a system app, not a user app. So for installing you'll have to replace it in /system directory.

  1. Download root browser
  2. Download cracked Google Play apk
  3. Open the root browser, navigate to /system directory and find the Google Play app there. Note the directory may vary in different Android versions. In older ones it's probably somewhere in /system/app directory, if you're running newer versions it might be in /system/priv-app/Phonesky/Phonesky.apk - I'll be using this example.
  4. Rename the downloaded file (cracked version of Google Play) to Phonesky.apk (i.e to the same name as the stock GPlay version) and replace it in the directory. It is recommended to backup the stock GPlay version in case the cracked one doesn't work.
  5. Change the permissions of the app. Hold your finger on the APK file, hit change permissions and change it to rw-r-r-
  6. Reboot.
Now you have the cracked Google Play version installed on your device. What next?

Buy an app

Simply buy the app. Everything will go as expected, your money will be sent to the developer. We're halfway done.

Refund the app

Next step? Refund. Go to Google Play, find the app and hit refund button right next to Open button. Your money will be refunded but the app you bought stays. boom!

Well, that's pretty much it. Please note that this walkthrough is for educational purposes only - support developers by giving them money. Only this way they can produce better applications for all.

Transparent status bar on ALL apps on Android Lollipop with Lolistat!

Transparent status bar is really an amazing step pushing forward the UI limits of Android. Firstly it was released when the Android Kitkat came out and it's been a hit for many UI Android designers as the transparent (or translucent, tinted, call it how you want) status bar looks really really nice and it lets the system blend fully with the app.

Unfortunately, not many developers have decided to implement this feature on their apps, thus it's not used as much as it should be.
However, there's a way to get this tinted status bar working on all apps. But how can this be done without modyfing the system files? Xposed Framework.

Lolistat is designed to work on Android Lollipop devices only, if you have older version of Android, please kindly check THIS video to get your tinted status bar working!

You need to have Xposed Framework installed on your device. If you don't have it or don't even what this is, please follow this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811

  1. Download Lolistat from Xposed directory
  2. Install the app.
  3. Enable the Xposed module
  4. Reboot
  5. woho!

Before and after. This. On all apps. Enjoy.

Tutorial - How To Use zANTI2 for hacking?

zANTI2 is a new app that came from the Zimperium and Simone Margaritelli, the dSploit author. zANTI comes with a bunch of amazing features, including metasploit exploits, packets sniffing, session and password hijacking and many more. But how do you use them? See this tutorial!

Ready to hack? Let's go.

First off, (if you haven't already), download the zANTI app from dsploit.net
You can register if you want and you're good to go.

Alright, now connect to the WiFi and start scanning.

Screenshot 2015 01 29 10 06 34Screenshot 2015 01 29 10 07 15

Wait for the scan to be finished. You will see connected devices with open ports. As you can see on the image above, there are a few devices including one HTC device running Linux (Android) and two printers.

You can now choose which of the devices you want to attack. I will go ahead and select the HTC. If you want to attack all of them, you can select the entire network.

If you open up the device, you'll see a few options popping up.

  • Scan
  • Connect to remote port
  • Password complexity audit
  • MITM
  • Vunlerabilities check (shellshock, SSL poodle)
Let's explain them. The scan option will perform another, more advanced scan on the target. You can specify the typea of scan and it will be more accurate on the target.

Connect to remote port is a very interesting option that lets the attacker connect to the open port and estabilish the connection to the victim. If you open up this option, you will see the available ports. In most cases, it would be 80, that is HTTP port. However, there can be more ports available. For example, I attempted to connect to my laptop - I have a password on it, if I didn't have any password set on my laptop, I could easily view everything available in the C:/ drive - pictures, folders, files and many more. Really cool, really spooky; conclusion - secure your laptop with a password, even if there's nobody you know that could possibly break into your device.

We're not done with this option, it brings much more stuff when there is a vunlerability that can be exploited on the victim's PC.

I've found this nice video by Adam Alio demonstrating the power of Zetasploit. He exploits a vulnerability in the victim's PC that allows to connect to remote host via VNC - the virtual network computing, a graphical desktop sharing system that allows to connect to monitor and control your PC using your Android phone, just like as you were running Windows XP.

Then he ran a Cloud exploit and connected to the console. He then took power over the computer and shut it down using shutdown command. Pretty nice and pretty easy. Also pretty scary, isn't it?

Let's skip the password complexity audit and jump right into the MITM section, which will be the most interesting one. MITM stands for man in the middle and what this basically means, is that by triggering an MITM attack, all the traffic goes through your device (you are becoming the man in the middle), thus you can easily view and modify the traffic requests.

To perform this MITM attack, simply select the target and then tap on "Man in the middle" button. A new tab will pop up.

Screenshot 2015 01 30 18 45 59

Firstly, choose which functions do you want to enable during the MITM attack. There is a SSL Strip option, which is very important because it removes the HTTPS protocol by redirecting it to a HTTP. You will not be able to hijack a session when there is a HTTPS protocol so SSL Strip is essential for hacking accounts.

SSL Strip cannot redirect a direct HTTPS, only when victim goes from HTTP to HTTPS. Means that if a victim opens up Facebook (which is HTTPS), SSL Strip will not work as there is a direct request to a HTTPS protocol. I suggest you keeping this enabled the entire time hacking.

Redirect HTTP -
This option redirects a website to another one. Simply choose the URL and enable the function.¨

Replace images -
Choose an image which will be replaced with all the images your victim browses through.

Capture download -
Choose which types you want to capture and enable the function to save all the files your victim downloads. You can also Intercept download by pushing another file to the victim.

Enable the MITM and wait a few whiles. If your victim doesn't use the net (web traffic), you'll have to wait till he/she opens up a browser, downloads a file or just use the network. If everything goes right, a little window saying "IP is vulnerable to MITM attack [or something like that]" should pop up. This means your victim is vunlerable to sniffing, session and password hijacking and many more functions zANTI has to offer.

To see what your victim browses through, see the "logged requests" option. You can also see logged images.

Screenshot 2015 01 30 18 48 59

Image above shows logged requests, you can hijack the session by tapping on one of the requests.

To allow each HTTP request individually, use the zPacketEditor. By swyping to the left, you can easily modify the request and send it to the victim.

Alright, now you should know the basics of MITM spoofing attacks, have fun playing!
Just one more thing, always be responsible for what you're doing, don't share private stuff of your victims, After all, it is not that difficult to find out the spoofer across the network.

How to enable stereo surroud sound on Nexus 5?

Nexus 5, the ex-flagship from Google. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with the real stereo sound but we can change that. It's really easy!
Root required

If you play media, music, videos or whatever uses the speaker, it plays only via the only speaker at the bottom. What this mod does, is that it enables all the speakers including ear piece speaker and thus enables the real surround sound for your device.

And how to install it? Well, it's actually pretty simple. The only thing you have to do is to flash a ZIP file in recovery.

What more to say, just enjoy your upgraded sound!

(If you don't like the changes, you can revert back by flashing this ZIP).

How to speed up YouTube player on Android?

Nothing is more annoying than seeing that little loading bar for ages and waiting till the video finally loads. Well, not anymore! Here's a handy walkthrough of how to speed up YouTube on Android by enabling the ExoPlayer!

Root required

Alright, let's get to it!

  1. Firstly, head over to the Youtube app settings and force stop it. You can also clear its data to avoid possible problems.
  2. Download/open a root browser and navigate to /data/data/com.google.android.youtube
  3. Open the file called shared_prefs
  4. Now, open the youtube.xml in a text editor of the app you're using.
  5. There's a <map> element right after the <xml version>and encoding information.
Copy these lines and past them below the <map> tag.

<string name="exo_player_activation_type">ADAPTIVE</string>
<boolean name="exo_player_cache" value="true"/>
<boolean name="show_exo_player_debzg_messages" value="true"/>

Be sure to save the file. Then go back to Youtube app settings and force close it again to take the effect. And you're done!

A toast message "Using ExoPlayer" should appear if you attempt to play a video on YouTube. That way you'll know the ExoPlayer fully works. Buffering especially HD/FULLHD videos should be much faster than before. Feel free to leave a feedback!

Be sure to have at least youtube, xml file backup before editing system files.

Advanced computer hacking using Android phone with zANTI2

Recently I've mentioned the new zANTI2 app from Zimperium and the developer or well-known hacking app called dSploit, and I took a closer look at it. It does pretty crazy stuff indeed!
I was really curious of how remote connection to a host/victim works, so I managed to connect to my PC and I was able to view all my directories and files in it. Pretty cool.

Actually, I don't even know why is the article called "advanced computer hacking", this is pretty easy.

pic

You can see available ports, and finally the directory that I was able to view from my Android phone.

Unfortunately, I was not able to use the Zetasploit which exploits a vulnerability and lets the hacker access Windows UI using VNC but I found a quick video:

This is a pretty neat exploit, that's for sure.

As you can see in the second half of the video, he estabilished a shell connection using ConnectBot and shut down the victim's PC afterwards.

That all, With one app. ZANTI2.
See the original article plus download:
http://androidhackz.blogspot.com/2014/12/dsploit-merges-with-zanti-and-create.html

How secure are public networks?

Have you ever wondered? I bet you've connected to a public network already but have you realized what danger are you facing by that? Let's find out. Read on to see what a hacker can do with your phone while you're "safely" connected to a public network.

First off, let's say you connect to a public network with unsecured ports, no firewall, VPN, browsing through HTTP websites. Let's see what I can do.

1.  I can easily hack your accounts using my phone and MITM-ARP spoofing attacks, steal your cookies, passwords, see what pictures are you viewing. I can redirect you to other website, change images or inject any javascript to website you're currently on. All of this can be done with apps like dSploit, zANTI and others. Pretty crazy, uh?

2. There's more. If I have a laptop or a PC, I can use the msf metasploit and play with your device a little. I can push a malicious APK onto your device with a preinstalled keylogger or any virus that will attack your device. Using Kali Linux, we can create an APK with remote shell. Then it can be pushed over to your device where you'll install it.

3. While the hacker is inside of a victim's phone, he can basically do whatever he wants with it. Using meterpreter command webcam_list and webcam_snap, he'll retrieve the photos of you from the front camera.

Here's a quick list of what can hacker do while you're connected to a public unsecured network:
  • Steal your passwords, personal informations
  • View your IP&MAC Adress
  • Inject a script to your website
  • Redirect you to another website
  • Change images on the website
  • Intercept download
  • Push a harmful APK to your phone
  • Access the shell
  • Take your photos, intercept webcameras
  • Many more!

Now you're probably shocked and asking "how can I secure myself enough when connected to public networks?" The answer is pretty easy.

  1. Use the SSL and HTTPS protocol. Most websites like Facebook or Twitter have it already but be sure you have it all the time while you're ON because the hacker can redirect you using SSLStrip.
  2. Use VPN or Proxy servers. For complete security, install Orbot from Tor project. If you're rooted and have transparent proxying enabled, you're good to go. Download Orbot
  3. Turn off file sharing and enable Firewall.
  4. On Android, use WiFi Protector, this will notice you everytime there's an attacker on your network. If you're rooted, you can protect yourself from the attack.
  5. The MITM (Man-in-the-middle) attacks works by redirecting all the traffic through a "man in the middle", making all the traffic slower. If your net speed suddenly gets slower or even stops, there might be a hacker.

Hope these tips help, always remember the security is number one priority!

Dsploit merges with zANTI and create the most powerful hacking tool for Android

Good news, my dearest fellow hackers. You might already know this but I've just found out that one of the best hacking softwares for mobile phones and tablets running Android, DSploit, has now merged with another huge company ZImperium which makes a powerful, top-class design hacking/security tool for Android called ZANTI. What's more, there's a new app!
Really awesome news. The new app's called ZANTI2 and has really some awesome features. Let's check them out:

Screenshot 2014 12 05 19 48 10Screenshot 2014 12 05 19 48 31

Screenshot 2014 12 05 19 48 39Screenshot 2014 12 05 19 48 46

As you can see on the images above, there's been a complete redesign to the app. It looks like the ZImperium took care of the design, whereas evilsocket implemented some really sick stuff into the app.

Firstly, there's a Password complexity audit tab which when clicked, attempts to crack weak passwords in the web. You select the dictionary (small, huge, numbers..) and protocol.

The MITM (Man in the middle) section also underwent some improvements. You can now modify each HTTP request as it passes through your device with zPacketEditor.

There's also a new MITM method, you can use either ICMP or the ARP method. SLLStrip works fine, so does the redirect, image replacement and HTML code insertion to the sites.

Another awesome function is called Capture Download and Intercept Download. With these two fucntions you can capture the victim's downloaded file and store it on your device, or you can even replace the downloaded file with a specific one. This takes it to a whole new level.

You can download ZANTI2 for free direclty on dsploit.net

How To Hack Google In-App Purchases? (And get paid stuff for free)

Here's a little app that can get you paid stuff like coins, gems or whatever you need for games and basically all apps (called IAP - in-app purchases) FOR FREE! Seriously.

First of all, this walkthrough is for educational purposes only, we don't take any responsibility for any of your acts.

Let's get to it!

There's a little app called Lucky Patcher. It's made by a guy known as ChelpuS and it's a really powerful tool. It can hack Google purchases but also crack licenses, remove Google Ads, modify app permissions and much more.

After you open up the Lucky Pather app, the list of installed apps will appear. Some of the titles will turn blue (most of them, actually), which displays the apps with Google Advertisments.

Some of them will appear green, that means these apps have License Verification. You can crack the license also with this app.

And some of the app titles will turn yellow. That means there's a custom patch for that app. For instance, Titanium Backup has a custom patch. By patching the application, you'll basically gain the Pro features out of the free version without paying.

Under some apps you'll see a little text that says In app purchases found. As you can tell, these apps have the IAP from Google.

  1. Click on the app that says In app purchases found.
  2. Select Open menu of patches
  3. Hit Support Patch for Inapp and LVL emulation
  4. Leave the two checkboxes and hit apply.
  5. Open the app (restart if needed) and try to buy something. A little box with two checkboxes will pop up. Try leaving them unchecked and buy something. If that doesn't work, try to check those two boxes. Still nothing? Try leaving just one (the first one or the second one) checked.

Lucky Patcher can be downloaded on the official site. The newer versions come with integrated auto-update manager so you don't have to worry about updating your app every once a while.

Lucky Patcher is also available on Google Play Store (called Lucky AppManager) but obviuosly doesnt't include functions such as license cracking, IAP hack and other stuff. However, there are some handy stuff you can do with it, such as move apps to sdcard, send APK files using bluetooth and more. You can get it for free:
